Byosis is a growing innovative company that offers solutions to recover nutrients. Our nitrogen stripper – a system that can recover nitrogen from waste water streams (for example at fermentation plants for biomethane production or industry) – is a particularly successful product.
The recovered nitrogen is transformed into a sustainable alternative to fertilisers. In addition, we are developing new systems that can also play a role in recovering and reusing valuable substances from waste water streams. Byosis is part of Nijhuis Saur Industries, an international company with circular solutions for water and waste water.
