René Nijmeijer is the founder of the nationwide company, BiedtRuimte. What is it like for him to do business from the green town of Raalte? ‘I walked into The Green East one and a half years ago. I was looking for office space and I was impressed by this unique site. Not just from an innovation point of view but also the atmosphere and the space that this beautiful location offers. I always give new customers a tour because there’s so much to see! In addition, the service at The Green East is a breath of fresh air. The only thing you need to do is set up your desk; they do the rest. Freshly brewed coffee, cleaners, and so on. Everything is taken care of. And if you need anything, it will appear almost instantly. It’s also wonderful to be able to share thoughts with other entrepreneurs at The Green East. We often have lunch with other teams and discuss ideas and possibilities. And sometimes we commiserate with each other about problems like finding staff for difficult-to-fill positions,’ says René with a grin.
